Get ready for a whirlwind of mouthwatering vegan delights, serene beach views, and all-around good vibes.

3-Day Introvert-Friendly Miami Beach Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring South Beach and Vegan Eats
Start your day with a hearty and energizing breakfast at Shepherd Coffee. While the cappuccino might lean more towards a latte, the avocado toast and oatmeal will provide a satisfying and nutritious start to your morning. Miami’s heat (and humidity) can be intense, so before you head out for the day, make sure to grab a water bottle to stay hydrated.
After breakfast, take a leisurely walk through Lummus Park. This park stretches from 5th Street to 15th street and has a nice path, plus a bunch of beach volleyball courts. As luck would have it, when I visited, it was the last day of Miami Beach Pride! There are events and festivals held here several times throughout the year, so if you’re lucky enough to catch one, take some time to shop from local vendors, listen to live music, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Once you reach the end of the park, turn back and stroll along Ocean Drive, where many of the most historic Miami Beach hotels are located. If you’re interested in learning more about the history, architecture, and fabulous style, stop by the Art Deco Welcome Center, located in the park at the end of 10th Street.
Ready to explore more? Take a leisurely afternoon walk along Collins Avenue, where art deco buildings and vibrant storefronts will capture your heart. You’ll find plenty of trendy shops, but don’t miss the quieter residential area south of 5th Street, which offers a glimpse of local life.
Before heading back to your hotel, make a stop at Pura Vida for some rejuvenating smoothies. The coco azul with protein is an absolute winner, but depending on your taste buds, the supergreens might taste a bit too much like a candle? Gotta keep it real!
Back at your hotel, take a short power nap (we all need those), freshen up, and head back to 5th and Washington for a simple dinner at Burgermeister. Their vegan burgers come with an Impossible patty, vegan cheese, and vegan mayo, and they even have a vegan truffle aioli to go with your fries. They don’t have tons of seating, but we enjoyed sitting at the bar and taking in all of the art/signs on the walls.

After a day filled with sun, food, and good vibes, it’s time to wind down. (This is the lowkey, introvert’s version of a Miami Beach itinerary, remember?) Head back to your hotel, relax, and rest up. Or don’t.
Day 2: Miami Beach Shopping, Cuban Coffee, and a Top-Notch Plant-Based Dinner

Kickstart your morning with a Cuban coffee adventure at Cortadito. Learn all about cortaditos and coladas while getting your caffeine fix. It’s a taste of Miami’s unique coffee culture you won’t want to miss.
For breakfast, head to Apple a Day Cafe and savor their vegan, gluten-free pancakes topped with fresh fruit. If you prefer savory options, their tofu scrambles and raw açaí bowls are equally satisfying. They also have a ton of smoothies and juices on the menu.
After breakfast, take a leisurely walk back toward the beach along Lincoln Road, a bustling shopping promenade. Akira’s campy fashion was our favorite shopping stop along the way. At the end of the promenade, venture South along Washington Avenue – but pause at Miu’s Tea for some refreshing bubble tea. Their “tiny boba” was new to me and it’s a fun twist on a classic favorite.

For the afternoon, if it’s not too hot, spend some quality time on the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the calming sound of the waves. Embrace the tranquility and let the worries of the world drift away. And when it’s time for dinner, indulge in a plant-based feast at Planta. Their pasta dishes are great, and their happy hour menu and Maki Mondays offer an array of unique vegan options that I haven’t seen at a lot of restaurants.

Walk back along the paved beachside promenade (enter South Pointe Park from Washington Ave), stopping at South Pointe Pier. If you’re a cat lover, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to spot cute furry friends here
Day 3: Miami Beach Sunrises & Breakfast Spots
It’s well worth it to set your alarm early one morning and catch the sunrise on the beach. It’s a magical experience, collecting shells, capturing lifeguard stands in all their glory, and snapping envy-inducing photos before the beaches get crowded. It’s your quiet moment to start the day right. If you’re interested in enjoying a sunrise yoga session here, check out 5th Street Beach Yoga.

Depending on the time of year, you might want to go back to bed, or head straight for breakfast. For your last day, enjoy a morning walk and a scrumptious vegan burrito and maduros (sweet plantains) from Las Olas. Or, visit Under the Mango Tree, where you can indulge in a cup of coffee and savor their vegan mozzarella and caramelized onion empanadas. It’s the perfect combination of flavors to start your day.
After breakfast, return to the beach for a few hours of relaxation and bliss. Let the warm sand embrace your feet, listen to the soothing melodies of the waves, and enjoy a morning with no plans other than soaking up the Miami Beach sun.
To end your Miami adventure on a high note, take a leisurely walk up Collins Avenue and then stroll back down along the boardwalk. Take in the breathtaking ocean views, savor the salty breeze, and relish the memories of an unforgettable weekend.
Now you’ve learned how you can enjoy 3 days in Miami Beach even if you aren’t there to party
As your Miami Beach trip comes to an end, I hope you’ve enjoyed the mouthwatering vegan cuisine and the rejuvenating moments of peace and serenity. Miami has so much to offer, and this 3-day itinerary is just a snapshot of what you can explore on foot in South Beach. If you have extra time, I recommend checking out Wynwood for colorful murals and even more delicious food options.
